Drone video of the Aunan Lodge salmon beat

Drone filming has in recent years opened up for new and fantastic possibilities of presenting rivers and fishing spots in an interesting and exciting way. During the 2017 season, Ronald Windl (http://www.flyfishing-ronny.com), arranged for drone filming of 16 of the 17 pools on the Aunan Lodge beat (it’s only the pool furthest upstream, Skjelsenghølen, that is not on this video).

The beat is approximately 5,5 km in length, and most of the fishing is double bank. This gives unique variation by Norwegian standards, and is made possible due to good cooperation between 13 neighbouring fishing right holders. This cooperation is the foundation for Aunan Lodge, and was also named as part reason for Aunan Lodge being awarded a rural development price by Innovation Norway in 2008.
